Volver maintains a global track and trace environment called "Volvtrack" to enable customers and our own operational team to check the status of consignments anywhere in our network.
Web based tracking application, any attribute of a shipment can be tracked, completely visible on the internet. Item quantities, required ship dates, commodity description and estimated vs. actual ex-factory dates along with the complete process are managed in the information flow, and made available from the time the order is placed. All data provided by Volvtrack are retrieved from our rented servers, which represent the most cutting-edge computer technology.
Regardless of the mode of transport, Volvtrack allows you to see all shipments and items that are on-hand at origin, giving you shipment optimization and planning capabilities by managing the ship windows and ex-factory dates of orders. We support a logistics program that is demand-driven instead of supply-driven. Combining Road & Rail Freight, Air Freight and Sea Freight, or any of our multi-modal services with our freight and transportation management services, gives you comprehensive online visibility. Basic shipment-level detail combined with shipment or cargo level detail can be viewed in Volvtrack, effectively managing the "as ordered" verses "as shipped" quantities and actively monitoring an order as it is filled over a period of time keeps the supply chain moving.
Tracing requests can easily be submitted by using the box provided. Two methods are available. One is to search by shipment reference, select number types from the drop down list and input the numbers, either Volver Waybill or client's own shipment reference are allowed. The other is to search by client code with checking the duration the shipping order is placed and fulfilled. Client code is confidential and unique for single client's usage, its offered at the very beginning of the cooperation.
You can benefit from Volvtrack in ways that :
Instantly know where your shipments are in the transport cycle, in a near to real-time basis.
Reduce inventory through improved planning.
Reduce administrative costs. Your staff spend less time on phones and fax machines tracking and processing shipments. |
